I edited out the sentence pertaining to the Dallah name. It has nothing to do with the name Abdullah. It is the arabic word for a coffee pot. The translation of the company name would be something like "the pot of goodness" . - HiJazzey 14:09, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
- you right :) who the hell wrote the first translation ? :D hehe Ammar 14:50, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
- The sentence is right, Dallah is also a diminutive of Abdallah. It's widely used in Gulf countries. In fact I read it in a Biography of Saleh Kamel.-139.103.97.17 18:29, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
- hehehe no sir , Dallah is a Coffeepot :D loool , thanx for helping editing this article anyways :) Ammar 12:27, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
- Dallah is a coffeepot too but Saleh Kamel said once:دلة كان اسم الدلع لعبد الله كما هو معروف في الحجاز.
- Your source could be right , but if you take a look on the Image of Dallah's tower (downpage) you would find a huge "Coffeepot" in the front of the building , even if Dallah is a nickname of Abdullah , the owner of Dallah called "Saleh" :) why's someone call his company by his father nickname?
- Secondly such source like "[1]" you can't depend on it because it could be written by amatuer webdesigner whos trying to fill up his pages :)
Fair use rationale for Image:Dallah-albaraka-logo.jpg
[edit]Image:Dallah-albaraka-logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 22:43, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Updated edits
[edit]The original source cited in the footnote (Yale Herald) has no information pertaining to the Al Baraka Group and the “Golden Chain” of alleged financiers of Al Qaeda in 2002 No cited evidence of close relationship between Dallah Group’s founder and Saudi monarchy that led to avaiation maintenance contracts. Funding Universe website provides no cited source that Barakh Group failed to attain a banking license from Saudi Arabia in the early1990s Second to last paragraph (History section): unsubstantiated editorializing]. Though U.S. officials at one time suspected that extremists had surrestiousply used one of the banking services of one of the group’s subsidiaries, no charges or sanctions were ever filed
Regarding allegations of investments in Sudanese bank, U.S officials cited suspicion of merely one branch of the Group’s banking sector and all allegations were dismissed. Saleh Kamel only held a small share and was by no means a top shareholder in one of the Sudanese banks that was suspected to be unwittingly utilized by some militants. No chrges were ever filed. Lawsuit against Dallah Avco has been dismissed The Huffington post piece cited is an opinion piece by an author with a clear bias against the Dallah Group’s $ 10 M donation to the Yale Islamic Law Center. The mention of the Yemen campaign by Saudi led Arab colaition forces is not germane and was also deleted. There was nothing controversial Bayoumi was never charged by either the U.S. or the UK for terror related offenses. Bayoumi was one of 60,000 employees of Dallah Avco. Section deleted as it is not germane Sisyphus26 (talk) 12:16, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
